In Altered, our world as we know it comes into contact with a magical 'alternative' world and that shuffles everything together. After this intense event, the world changed completely and everyone eventually learned to work together in a new harmonious world. Choose a faction and a matching hero and go on an adventure in a constantly changing world, together with your magical companion.


A starter deck is all you need to get started playing right away and start your first collection.

The starter deck contains a ready-made 40 cards deck of the chosen faction including one hero card. Furthermore, a starter deck contains five adventure cards, 15 cardboard tokens to use while playing and a paper playmat. In addition, the deck contains a random foiler token for a common, rare or unique. You can use this to have a card foil printed on-demand.

With a starter deck in your possession, all you have to do is find an opponent and you are ready to discover the magical world of Altered.

A Starter Deck contains:
- 1 ready-made deck of 40 cards, including 1 hero.
- 5 adventure cards.
- 15 cardboard tokens.
- 1 paper playmat.
- 1 random foiler token (common, rare or unique).
- 1 rule booklet.
